Yukon has grown quickly, and quick growth produces neighbourhoods where the houses are close in age and close in plan. That has a practical benefit for an owner: the same problems and the same opportunities repeat street to street, so the scope of a kitchen or a bathroom in one of these houses is well understood before we walk in.

The most common Yukon project is the one where a family has outgrown the plan rather than the house. That is an addition or a reworked floor plan, not a cosmetic update, and it is worth being clear about the difference before the budget is set.
